Department of Postgraduate Studies

Department of Postgraduate Studies was established in April 2019 and is the recent department in the Faculty. The department is responsible in managing the postgraduate programmes in FKEE. Currently, there are four programmes offered by the Faculty, namely Master of Electrical Engineering (by Coursework), Master of Science in Internet of Things, Master of Electrical Engineering (by Research) and Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering. The programmes have been accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) since 2010. The department consists of sixteen academic staff who are not only involved in teaching and learning but also actively engaged in research activities within the area of communication engineering, computer engineering, mechatronic engineering, medical electronic engineering, microelectronic engineering and electrical power engineering.
