Introduction

High Voltage and Insulation Coordination (KVolt) was established in 2017 to provide a research platform and sharing ideas for the researchers from the high voltage. The field of expertise are as follows: 

  1. Solid, liquid and gas insulation condition monitoring
  2. High voltage insulation material characterization
  3. EM radiation measurement of HV power line
  4. Electrical testing of high voltage equipment
  5. Lightning protection system
  6. Insulation coordination of power lines and substation

Presentation of the Lightning Protection Analysis Project for Taman Impian Emas. This consultation project was given by GIDSB. KVolt members need to provide a technical analysis report for Lightning Protection based on ST requirements.
