Visiting Lecturer Program at Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi (UNITRI), Malang, Indonesia – 29 October 2019 (Tuesday)

A Visiting Lecturer program was held at Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi (UNITRI), Malang, Indonesia on the 29th October 2019 under the theme “Virtual 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM).” The lectures were delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Che Zalina Zulkifli from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Abd Kadir bin Mahamad and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wahyu Mulyo, both from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. The lecture presented by Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Abd Kadir and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wahyu entitled “IoT Competitive Advantages and Its Outcome Values for Civil Engineering Applications.” The program was located at Ruang Sidang Lt. II, Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi Malang. This program has gained attention from a total number of 50 participants that include the students and lecturers from the Faculty of Engineering, Civil Engineering Department, UNITRI.

The same program has already been planned at the Polytechnic Negeri Malang in the near future to provide the students with an opportunity to gain knowledge on the latest applications in IoT and also, joint involvement in research, publications, knowledge transfer activities, and exchange of staff and students between these three universities. During the program, a joint signing ceremony of the Letter of Intent (LoI) between the three universities was conducted for mutual benefit.
