FKEE Delegates at International Symposiums in China
FKEEevents | 27-28.09.2025 | Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) proudly participated in the 2025 International Symposium on Green Building Materials, Intelligent Construction and Industry 4.0 and the 2025 International Symposium on Automotive, Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0, held on 27–28 September 2025 at Guangxi University of Science and Technology (GXUST), Liuzhou, Guangxi Province, China.
📌 The visit also included a tour of the SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile (SGMW) Smart Factory Car Manufacturing, one of China’s leading smart automotive manufacturing facilities.
The symposium was organized by Guangxi University of Science and Technology in collaboration with Edinburgh Napier University, United Kingdom, and sponsored by the British Council. Partner institutions included Dongguan University of Technology, National University of Laos, Chiang Mai University of Thailand, Hanoi University of Technology, Corvinus University of Budapest, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) and the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET).
The Malaysian delegation comprised:
1️⃣ Prof. Dr. Nafarizal Bin Nayan – Director, Research Management Centre (RMC), UTHM
2️⃣ Prof. Ir. Dr. Soon Chin Fhong – Principal Research Professor, Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (FKEE), UTHM
3️⃣ Ts. Mahdzir Bin Jamiaan – Postgraduate Student, Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (FKEE), UTHM
This participation highlights UTHM’s commitment to strengthening international research networks, expanding academic and industry collaborations, and contributing to the global agenda in green building materials, smart manufacturing, automotive innovation, and Industry 4.0. 🌍🤝
