National Robotic Competition (NRC) 2019 - 17 & 18 July 2019 (Wednesday & Thursday)

The National Robotic Competition (NRC) 2019 for Johor state level has been organized by Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (FKEE) in collaboration with Johor Education Department (JPN) and Sasbadi Holdings Bhd. on the 17th and 18th of July 2019 at F2 Examination Hall in UTHM. This competition aims to find the best team from each category to represent Johor at National and International level. ‘Smart City’ has been chosen as the theme for NRC 2019. NRC was first organized in 2005 to stimulate the interest of primary and secondary school students in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). This time around, a total number of 251 teams from both primary and secondary schools in Johor were involved. Each team consists of three students and one mentor among the teacher. The opportunity given to FKEE in organising the NRC 2019 has allowed the Faculty to engage the staff and students in CSR activity to support the transformation towards a comprehensive and systematic education system involving STEM among the schools in Johor.
